Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Personal Lines Sales and Service Agent to join our insurance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional service to clients, while also driving sales of personal lines insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through leads and referrals
- Evaluate clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations
- Assist with claims management and follow-up
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and industry-specific information
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and service goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Proven experience as an insurance agent
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverage options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in using relevant computer programs and customer relationship management software
- Holds an active P&C insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $45K-$60K (based on experience)
