Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by effectively managing their employee benefits accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and a deep understanding of employee benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored employee benefits solutions
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and administration of employee benefits programs
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of client accounts to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date guidance and advice
  • Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges to maintain client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license
  • Previous experience with various funding arrangements including fully insured, level funded, and self funded
  • At least 2-3+ years of experience independently managing a book of business – required
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
