Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing middle to large market employee benefits accounts, preparing renewals, quoting/marketing, and working with insureds and carriers on plan design.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
- 401(k) benefits
- Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Responsibilities
- Prepare renewals and conduct quoting/marketing
- Work with insureds and carriers on plan design
- Conduct enrollment meetings
- Manage middle to large market employee benefits accounts
- Handle some self-funded groups with a large portion still in fully insured
- Manage a book of business with 20-30 groups depending on experience level
Qualifications/Requirements
- L&H license
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits, including COBRA, wellness plans, and pharmacy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative and consultative approach to account management
