Job Summary
The Commercial Insurance Account Coordinator provides essential support to Account Managers in the servicing and renewal of middle market commercial accounts. This role involves policy administration tasks—such as issuing certificates, processing endorsements, and preparing renewal materials—for portfolios ranging from $50K to $1M in premium across industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate/Property, and Healthcare.

 

Responsibilities

  • Issue certificates of insurance, process endorsements, and implement policy changes
  • Assist with preparation of renewals and RFP presentations by gathering quotes, loss runs, motor vehicle records (MVRs), and other underwriting data
  • Coordinate renewal deadlines, endorsement requests, and client deliverables for a book of accounts shared among several Account Managers
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and external brokers to resolve service requests and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation within the agency management system
  • Communicate policy updates, expiration notices, and coverage changes to clients and internal teams

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in insurance administration or account support, with demonstrated expertise in certificate issuance and renewal preparation
  • Familiarity with middle market accounts in sectors such as Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate/Property, and Healthcare
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management software
  • Ability to support several Account Managers and adapt to evolving priorities

 

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $60K–$70K (based on experience)
