Job Title: Personal Lines Insurance Specialist
Job Summary:
This role focuses on the growth and retention of a middle market personal lines book of business, with a small portion of high-net-worth accounts. The Personal Lines Insurance Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned accounts – while placing a strong emphasis on generating new business through both provided and self-sourced leads. This position is ideal for a driven, personable individual who thrives in a sales-forward environment and is looking to build long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated book of personal lines accounts from start to finish, including renewals, coverage reviews, and policy servicing
- Conduct prospecting and lead generation (approximately 60% self-sourced, 40% provided)
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and high-quality service
- Cross-sell and upsell additional products to existing clients and referral sources
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system
- Leverage referrals from existing book of business to grow client base
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty license in Texas required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in personal lines insurance – sales, account management, or both
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong phone presence and persuasive communication skills
- High energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented personality; enjoys a fast-paced sales environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
