Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing expert advice
- Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, including homeowners, auto, and umbrella policies
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process endorsements, and handle policy renewals
- Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines to provide informed recommendations to clients
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in our agency management system
- Collaborate with the sales team to support revenue growth and client retention efforts
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Account Manager in the personal lines insurance industry
- Solid understanding of personal lines insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage client accounts and documentation
- Proficiency in using agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Insurance licensure and relevant certifications are preferred but not required
Day-to-day
- Communicating with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to assess their insurance needs and provide personalized solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless policy administration
- Conducting policy reviews and annual account check-ins to proactively identify opportunities for coverage enhancements or policy adjustments
- Maintaining regular communication with insurance carriers to stay informed about new products, underwriting guidelines, and industry updates
- Updating client records in the agency management system and ensuring accuracy of policy details and client information
