Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a book of commercial insurance business. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and building strong, long-lasting relationships
- Assess client needs and provide expert advice on insurance products and coverages
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing on behalf of clients
- Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and other service requests with accuracy and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, changes in regulations, and new insurance products
- Effectively manage and organize a large book of business, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Assist in the marketing and placement of new and renewal business
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
