Commercial Lines Insurance Producer - Entry Level

Are you looking to get started as a Producer in Commercial Insurance? We are working with an established Agency that is seeking a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join their team! Must have a hunter mentality. General understanding of P&C Insurance is preferred, but they are willing to train the right candidate. If you're a networking rock star, and want to build a book of business, this could be the role for you.

Duties:

• Actively contact prospects, schedule appointments, make sales presentations and close on new business accounts.
• Maintain prospect list of clients of agency's targeted business.
• Diligently maintain records in the agency management system.
• Comfortable thinking outside the box and overcoming obstacles.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Work independently and as part of a team to drive agency revenue.
• Apply problem solving techniques to various issues.
• Ability to work with multiple carriers & grow broker network.
• Comfortable with cold-calling to generate new business.

Requirements:

• Previous sales experience (does not have to be in commercial insurance)
• Knowledge of personal or commercial lines of insurance is a plus
• P&C license preferred but not required if you have proven track record of previous sales experience

Compensation:

• Base salary (DOE) plus commissions on new business
