Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Small Business Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of small business clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the seamless delivery of insurance products and services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for small business clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Analyze client needs and provide suitable insurance solutions and advice
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of insurance quotes, proposals, and renewal documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and optimize the client experience
- Monitor policy renewals and proactively engage with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market developments to better advise clients
- Drive growth and retention through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Maintain and update client information and activity in the agency management system
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry
- Previous Small Business account experience is preferred
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage options
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and industry-related software
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
