Job Title: Personal Lines Associate Account Manager

 

Job Summary

The Personal Lines Associate Account Manager plays a key role in supporting account service functions across a high-volume book of personal lines business. This position works closely with account managers and producers to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and timely handling of service requests. Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily servicing of personal lines accounts, including policy changes, renewals, billing inquiries, and claims support
  • Process policy changes through agency management systems and carrier platforms (e.g., adding/replacing vehicles, coverage adjustments, mortgagee changes)
  • Support Account Managers and Account Executives with managing workloads and ensuring timely completion of client requests
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate renewal processes and manage expiration lists to ensure timely submission of information
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and proactive service
  • Deliver high levels of client advocacy by anticipating needs and resolving issues effectively

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in personal lines account management or insurance support
  • Property & Casualty license required, or willingness to obtain within 3–6 months of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems preferred
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a client-service orientation and a positive attitude
