Job Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their employee benefits programs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of benefits plans, including enrollment, billing, and claims resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present benefit plan options and recommendations to clients
- Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Employee Benefits Account Manager
- In-depth knowledge of medical and voluntary benefits offerings, compliance, and industry trends
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing employee benefits, including ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA
Day-to-day
- Engage in regular communication with clients to understand their needs and provide proactive support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and administration of benefits programs
- Conduct regular assessments of benefits plans to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes through ongoing education and professional development opportunities
