Job Summary:

The Jr. Account Manager will support the account management team by handling various commercial insurance tasks. This position is ideal for someone with strong processing experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role will involve working with mid to large accounts and offers the opportunity for professional growth into a full account management position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing smaller accounts independently.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day tasks and account management activities.
  • Process endorsements, certificates, and renewals for commercial accounts.
  • Handle audits and provide required documentation for clients.
  • Gradually take responsibility for managing smaller accounts independently.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all activities are completed on time and meet client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth account operations.
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business under the guidance of an Account Manager.
  • Stay organized and track activities and tasks to ensure efficiency.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of processing experience in commercial insurance.
  • Experience with EPIC software is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid P&C (Property and Casualty) license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Driven and motivated to learn and grow within the role.
  • A positive attitude and strong desire to develop in the commercial insurance field.
