Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure that their accounts are effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with underwriters, producers, and other team members to provide comprehensive insurance solutions to clients.
- Analyze and assess client risk exposures, coverage needs, and market trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, including coverage options, pricing, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee the processing of policy transactions, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other documentation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing proactive risk management advice and claims support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry developments, market conditions, and insurance products to provide strategic guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or related role.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management practices.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently manage priorities and deadlines.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
