Job Description
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and develop comprehensive risk management strategies
- Negotiate and place policies with insurance carriers to meet clients' coverage requirements
- Collaborate with underwriters and producers to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance and account management
- Review and analyze insurance contracts, endorsements, and audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Keep abreast of industry trends, insurance products, and market changes to provide proactive and innovative solutions to clients
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests
- Develop and implement retention strategies to increase client satisfaction and maintain a high level of client retention
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals through cross-selling opportunities and account rounding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or related field
- Proven track record of success in cultivating and managing commercial insurance accounts
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- A valid insurance license and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM) is a plus
