Job Description

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and client satisfaction
  • Analyze employee benefit offerings and provide tailored solutions to clients
  • Prepare and deliver renewal presentations in formats suited to each client’s needs
  • Stay informed about current carrier products and industry trends
  • Foster a growth mindset, focusing on both personal and team development
  • Lead educational sessions for clients’ employees, including during Open Enrollment periods
  • Advise clients on the administration of benefit plans, compliance, and alternative funding options
  • Address client and employee inquiries related to employee benefits programs in a timely and knowledgeable manner
  • Manage claim and billing issues, collaborating with clients and carriers to resolve them effectively
  • Serve as the point of contact between clients and Third-Party Administrators, including for programs like FSAs and COBRA
  • Guide clients through the enrollment process, explaining eligibility, qualifying events, terminations, and plan designs
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain, grow, and expand client relationships
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and industry knowledge
  • Prioritize daily tasks and seek assistance when necessary to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Meet with clients to address their insurance needs and concerns
  • Ensure producers are fully informed of account status and activities
  • Continuously build expertise in the employee benefits space to stay at the forefront of industry standards
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the client services team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active Health and Life Insurance license
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software
  • A team-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and success
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients and team members
