Commercial Insurance Service/ Department Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Insurance Service Manager to join our team and drive growth of the department. Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the CL Department, managing a team of 20-30 employees. Please note out client works closely with the church and faith-based non-profits.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lines Department
- Lead and manage a team of 25-50 employees, including training, performance evaluations, and team development
- Service a book in premium, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Handle new and renewal business quoting, including negotiating terms and conditions
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain business, meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers, clients, and underwriters
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines
- Active P&C (Property & Casualty) license in good standing
- Proficiency in EPIC software and other relevant industry tools
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven track record of effectively managing a large book of business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
