Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and driven Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial insurance with a fast-growing agency that provides a clear path for growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Sell and service a book of commercial insurance business, handling accounts from start to finish.
- Focus primarily on new business sales while managing a small assigned book of renewals.
- Generate leads independently while leveraging company-provided leads .
- Quote and bind new/renewal business, ensuring proper coverage and competitive pricing.
- Develop relationships with clients and generate referrals from an existing book of business.
- Once $1M in premium is reached, transition to working with an Account Manager for servicing.
- Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Required: Minimum of 6 months of commercial lines experience (Account Manager or Producer).
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience in commercial insurance.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to think outside the box to generate leads and grow a book of business.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
