Responsibilities
- Manage the renewal process, taking full ownership from initial review to policy issuance.
- Set clear expectations with clients regarding renewal timelines and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams to process policy changes, endorsements, and issue certificates of insurance promptly.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive insurance applications and proposals to carriers on behalf of clients.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes for both new and renewal business.
- Review insurance quotations to identify optimal coverage options for clients' personal insurance needs.
- Create accurate and professional insurance proposals for client presentations.
- Ensure all policy endorsements are accurate and comply with clients' insurance requirements.
- Assist clients with premium audits and manage disputes when necessary.
- Issue certificates of insurance in accordance with client requests.
- Verify the accuracy of newly issued policies before delivering them to clients.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts and recommend additional coverage options.
- Stay updated on industry trends, maintain relevant certifications, and participate in ongoing training.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members to foster their professional growth.
- Efficiently prioritize and manage workload to meet client needs and deadlines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- The ability to convey complex insurance information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Exceptional client service orientation with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- Experience handling client inquiries, concerns, and providing timely resolutions.
- Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage workload efficiently.
- Attention to detail in policy reviews, documentation, and client communication.
- Ability to analyze complex insurance situations and propose effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice to clients is required.
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Preferred Agency Management System Experience: EPIC
- 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with High-Net-Worth accounts is required.
- Holds at least one professional designation or has comparable job experience.
- Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
