Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, providing exceptional service and support to clients
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, understanding their insurance needs and developing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of products and services to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate the best terms and coverage for clients
- Identify opportunities for account growth and retention, proactively addressing client needs and concerns
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide informed guidance to clients
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or Account Executive
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of commercial accounts and achieving client retention and growth targets
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant insurance designations such as CIC, ARM, or CPCU are a plus
