Marketing Specialist
Job Summary
An established agency is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance, specializing in all lines of P&C for both new business and renewals. This role requires expertise in marketing within Generalist industries, particularly Agribusiness and Transportation/Trucking. Candidates located in or near the central valley area are preferred, although fully remote candidates with the requisite expertise will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage renewals and marketing activities for Property & Casualty insurance.
- Develop and execute strategies to quote new and renewal business effectively.
- Utilize knowledge and experience in Agribusiness (Commercial Ag, Grower, Packer, Shippers, Farming) and Transportation/Trucking to target appropriate markets.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to optimize marketing efforts and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with a focus on marketing.
- Proven track record in managing renewals and securing new business.
- Strong understanding of Agribusiness and/or Transportation/Trucking industries preferred.
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, as applicable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Preferred Agency Management System experience: AMS360
- Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
