We are currently seeking a knowledgeable California Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role involves managing workers compensation claims in compliance with California state regulations, ensuring fair outcomes, and delivering excellent service to clients and claimants.

Compensation:

  • $80,000 - $95,000/year (based on experience)
  • Full medical benefits
  • Generous PTO

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of workers compensation claims from inception to resolution in compliance with California state regulations.
  2. Conduct investigations, including gathering statements, medical records, and other pertinent documents.
  3. Determine claim compensability, establish appropriate reserves, and maintain accurate claim files.
  4. Review and interpret medical records, wage documentation, and treatment plans to determine benefits.
  5. Coordinate with claimants, employers, medical providers, and attorneys to facilitate the claims process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling California workers compensation claims.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of California workers compensation laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must have their SIP or CA license
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
