Responsibilities
- Responsible for servicing a book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients and insurance carriers through regular communication.
- Address client inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and other service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, carriers, producers, and team members in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop concise and informative summaries for existing clients to ensure they have a clear understanding of their insurance coverage.
- Continuously identify cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Proactively suggest new lines of coverage to clients, tailoring recommendations to their specific needs.
- Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients.
- Market client accounts, prepare marketing information, gather necessary data for client presentations, and present marketing options to clients.
- Complete the implementation process for policies, ensuring all required forms are prepared and delivered to clients.
- Utilize the client management system to update policies, log client meetings and activities, and manage follow-ups efficiently.
- Coordinate relationship management meetings with assigned clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, new products, and legislative changes relevant to clients' needs.
- Stay informed about underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier to provide accurate information to clients.
- Serve as a mentor to team members, offering guidance and support in their professional growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products and demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
- Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Preferred Agency Management System Experience: HawkSoft
- 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous marketing experience is required.
- Prior E&S experience is needed.
- Previous Non-Admitted experience is required.
- Holds at least one professional designation or has comparable job experience.
- Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
