Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the renewal process.
  • Set expectations with clients and carriers regarding renewal deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to process endorsements and certificates.
  • Handle incoming service requests from clients promptly, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage the quoting process for new and renewal business.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, carriers, producers, and team members in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare comprehensive and high-quality insurance submissions to carriers on behalf of clients or prospects.
  • Review and analyze carrier quotations to identify the most suitable options for clients' insurance needs.
  • Create professional and accurate insurance proposals for client presentations.
  • Review endorsements for accuracy and compliance with clients' insurance requirements.
  • Perform thorough contract reviews to identify insurance requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Assist clients during premium audits and handle disputes if necessary.
  • Prepare and issue certificates of insurance as required by clients.
  • Verify the accuracy of newly issued policies before delivering them to clients.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients and insurance carriers through regular communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Address client inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and other service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously identify cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Proactively suggest new lines of coverage to clients, tailoring recommendations to their specific needs.
  • Market client accounts, prepare marketing information, gather necessary data for client presentations, and present marketing options to clients.
  • Complete the implementation process for policies, ensuring all required forms are prepared and delivered to clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, maintain relevant certifications, and complete assigned training.
  • Stay informed about underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Serve as a mentor to team members, offering guidance and support in their professional growth.
  • Prioritize and manage workload efficiently.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products and demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Exceptional client service orientation with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
  • Experience handling client inquiries, concerns, and providing timely resolutions.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage workload efficiently.
  • Attention to detail in policy reviews, documentation, and client communication.
  • Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Required Agency Management System Experience: EPIC
  • Previous experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Holds at least one professional designation or has comparable job experience.
  • Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
