Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a Senior Commercial Auto/General Liability Claims Adjuster. The ideal candidate will actively manage and effectively oversee assigned NAC business accounts for Auto and General Liability claims written on a guaranteed cost basis, high deductible, and self-insured retention basis handled by third party administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and oversee assigned NAC business accounts for Auto and General Liability claims
- Ensure proper claims handling and service delivery by working with third party administrators
- Assist in the risk selection process by working with Underwriting and Risk Control
- Identify loss trends on an account or book of business level
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ working experience overseeing and managing multi-line claims with auto/general liability; preferred 10+ years
- Proper Adjuster Licenses in all applicable states
- Ability to handle high severity claims
- Knowledge & expertise with multiple jurisdictions
- Previous experience working for a TPA or TPA oversight role is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Willingness to travel 25% for mediations and meetings with brokers/underwriters
Day-to-day: The successful candidate will work with third party administrators, participate in client set-up meetings, attend mediations and trials, and assist in the risk selection process. They will also be responsible for identifying loss trends and resolving any claims or service issues that arise.
