About the Opportunity:
Our client, a respected Third-Party Administrator (TPA), is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead and develop a team of adjusters handling New York claims. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive claim performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a high-performing team environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $95,000 - $115,000/year (based on years of experience)

Qualifications:
- Active New York Adjuster’s License (Required)
- 5+ years of experience handling New York Workers’ Compensation claims
- 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of New York jurisdiction, statutes, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working within a TPA or insurance carrier environment
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-volume environment
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters handling New York claims
- Monitor claim files for quality, accuracy, and compliance with New York Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations
- Conduct regular file reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve performance
- Assist adjusters with complex, litigated, and high-exposure claims
- Ensure timely reserving, proper claim investigation, and strategic resolution of claims
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
- Track and report on key performance metrics (closure rates, lag time, reserve accuracy, etc.)
- Support training initiatives and onboarding of new team members
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal best practices
