Commercial Lines Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join a growing insurance organization. This role is responsible for managing mid to large market commercial accounts, primarily within the real estate and construction industries, while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong relationships with clients, producers, and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of mid to large market commercial lines accounts, with a primary focus on real estate and construction risks.

• Handle all aspects of commercial account servicing, including renewals, quoting, proposals, endorsements, policy changes, billing inquiries, and new business submissions.

• Collaborate closely with producers to facilitate policy placements, address coverage needs, and ensure seamless service delivery.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members to support client satisfaction and retention.

• Review policies and coverage options to identify potential gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Prepare and present renewal proposals, coverage comparisons, and other client-facing documentation.

• Utilize Applied EPIC to maintain accurate account records, track activities, and manage policy documentation.

• Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve coverage or servicing issues.

• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.

• Maintain organized account files and ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial lines account management experience for the Account Manager position.

• Minimum of 10 years of commercial lines account management experience for the Senior Account Manager position.

• Previous experience in a Commercial Lines Manager or similar leadership role is also valued.

• Experience managing mid to large market commercial accounts, preferably within the real estate and construction industries.

• Proficiency in Applied EPIC or similar agency management software.

• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy forms, underwriting requirements, and renewal processes.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.

• Proactive problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote environment.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
