Commercial Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Commercial Insurance Specialist to join a dynamic business insurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising commercial clients on property and casualty (P&C) insurance products, providing quotes, binding policies, and managing accounts to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
• Comprehensive benefits package available (details to be discussed during the interview process).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, addressing their P&C insurance needs and inquiries.
• Provide accurate quotes, issue policies, and process endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and ensuring client retention.
• Stay up-to-date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records in the CRM and agency management systems.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in commercial property and casualty insurance (preferred).
• Licensing: Active P&C insurance license is a bonus.
• Skills:
  • Strong phone communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with small and mid-size business insurance products and rating tools.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Work Environment:
  • This is an in-office position located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Business attire and a clean-shaven appearance are required daily.
