Personal Lines Agent - New Business

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Agent to join a team. This role focuses on quoting, binding, and servicing personal insurance policies while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients secure the coverage they need. This is a hybrid position, requiring four days in-office and one day remote per week.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
• Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Responsibilities

• Quote and bind personal insurance policies.
• Process endorsements and handle client coverage inquiries.
• Conduct account reviews to ensure clients have appropriate coverage.
• Provide exceptional customer service to retain and grow the personal lines book of business.
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a P&C insurance role.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in insurance software and technology tools.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in a hybrid setting (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).
