Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to manage and support a portfolio of middle-market commercial insurance accounts. This role is ideal for a client-focused insurance professional with strong coverage knowledge, relationship management skills, and the ability to provide strategic risk management and insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

Advise and consult clients regarding commercial insurance coverage needs and risk management strategies.

Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and coordinate account servicing activities.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while partnering with sales and service teams to support client retention and account growth.

Review policies, endorsements, proposals, and other insurance documents for accuracy and completeness.

Oversee the marketing and quoting of new and renewal business.

Evaluate coverage options and work with insurance carriers to secure appropriate terms for clients.

Coordinate account workflows and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Support special projects and collaborate with commercial lines leadership on departmental initiatives.

Maintain accurate and complete client and policy information within agency management software.
Qualifications/Requirements

5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience within an agency environment, preferably supporting middle-market accounts.

Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk mitigation strategies.

Experience reviewing policies, endorsements, proposals, and related insurance documentation.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to effectively coordinate and delegate account servicing responsibilities.

Experience with EPIC or similar agency management software.

Strong mathematical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop strong client and carrier relationships.
Compensation Package

Base Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 + bonus opportunities
