Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic and team-oriented organization. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of accounts, ranging from $5,000 to $500,000, with an average size of $75,000 to $100,000+. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong background in commercial lines account management and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with claims and payment inquiries.
  • Manage policy renewals, conduct coverage reviews, and handle pricing and delivery.
  • Support new business sales, including sourcing, quote preparation, and presentation.
  • Prepare Acord and application forms.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales and service phone calls.
  • Perform data entry and maintain records in the Applied Systems EPIC agency management system.
  • Collaborate with MGAs and underwriters to ensure seamless account management.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and learn new skills as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years in commercial lines account management.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Applied Systems EPIC is required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with surplus lines and working with MGAs and underwriters.
  • Soft Skills: Personable, team player, excellent communicator, organized, and proactive.
  • Location: Must be based in the Houston area and able to work onsite for the first 90 days.
