Client Executive – Personal Lines
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Executive – Personal Lines to join a team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing a personal insurance book of business through relationship management, insurance consulting, and sales activities. As the primary point of contact for assigned clients, you will provide proactive service, identify opportunities to expand coverage, and improve account retention.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Additional Earnings: New business percentage (NB%) and lower renewal percentage, with total compensation potential in the $70,000 range
- Stability: Base salary does not decrease
- Existing Book of Business: Take on an established portfolio

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients, fostering trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, digital leads, and existing client relationships.
- Conduct coverage reviews, assess client needs, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Focus on account rounding and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client protection and increase account value.
- Oversee all aspects of the policy lifecycle, including quoting, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and coverage modifications.
- Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and sales pipeline information within agency management systems.
- Achieve performance goals, including new business production, retention, cross-selling, referrals, and overall book growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to provide competitive coverage options and service solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to deliver efficient service and comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Provide feedback on process improvements and participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Experience: Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverages
- Skills:
- Proven sales, prospecting, and relationship-building abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with agency management systems, CRM platforms, and carrier portals
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Independence: Ability to manage a book of business and sales pipeline autonomously
