Agricultural Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Agricultural Insurance Producer to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with prior agricultural or insurance producing experience who are eager to grow their career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities, including managing client accounts, cross-selling insurance products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Commission: Eligible for commissions on top of base salary
  • Benefits: Full benefits package provided
  • Flexibility: Remote work option available, with occasional in-office requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounts, including policy changes, payments, and renewals
  • Handle incoming calls and walk-in business with professionalism and efficiency
  • Cross-sell insurance products to meet client needs and achieve sales targets
  • Quote new and renewal business as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain and grow client relationships
  • Utilize agency management software (EZ Lynx and Epic) for account management
  • Attend occasional staff meetings and training sessions as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in insurance or agricultural producing preferred; candidates with a strong willingness to learn will also be considered
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EZ Lynx and Epic software is a plus
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a small office environment, and adaptability to a high-paced setting
  • Location: Must be local enough to attend occasional in-person meetings if working remotely
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance or agriculture is a plus
