Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of a insurance agency, particularly in servicing healthcare accounts such as home health, hospice, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance operations, excellent time management skills, and a desire to grow within the industry.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to leadership, including preparing documentation for renewals, proposals, and market submissions.
  • Order loss runs, create ACORD forms, and initiate certificates of insurance.
  • Follow up on binders, invoices, and other documentation to ensure timely processing.
  • Assist in the transition and implementation of the EPIC software system, taking a leadership role in its rollout.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with certificates and endorsements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is a must; experience with Zywave is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
