Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing mid-to-large group accounts, providing exceptional service, and delivering innovative benefits solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, particularly with self-funded and level-funded accounts, and will thrive in a family-oriented, collaborative environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities
- Manage and service mid-to-large group employee benefits accounts (50+ lives).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Handle self-funded and level-funded accounts, providing expert guidance and support.
- Prepare and present new and renewal business quotes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designations are a significant plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee benefits account management.
- Proven expertise in managing accounts with 50+ lives, including self-funded and level-funded plans.
- Polished communication skills with the ability to present to large groups.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
