Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and professional Personal Lines Producer to join a growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with access to a steady stream of leads from a thriving real estate market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in insurance sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with real estate professionals.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
  • Commission: 55% on new business, 2.5% minimum renewal commission after the first year (with potential for increases based on performance)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
  • Training: Minimum two weeks of training at the corporate office
  • Work Schedule: Primarily in-office (3 days per week minimum), with flexibility after initial relationship-building phase

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents to generate leads
  • Manage and prioritize inbound leads, with a focus on high-priority referrals
  • Conduct networking activities, including presentations and meetings with real estate offices
  • Achieve a quota of $250,000 in written premium during the first year
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Applied EPIC, and DocuSign to manage accounts and streamline processes
  • Transition accounts to the service team after the first renewal period

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) License
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance sales, preferably within an independent agency or with experience managing multiple carriers
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce, Applied EPIC, and DocuSign
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
    • Personable and professional demeanor
    • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
    • Strong conversational and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to read the room and engage effectively with diverse real estate professionals
