Large Group Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Large Group Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing a portfolio of 15-20 clients, focusing on accounts with 100+ employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in self-funding, level funding, and fully insured plans, with the ability to independently manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Independently manage a book of business consisting of 15-20 clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Handle renewal projections, escalated claims issues, and marketing as needed.
- Serve as a project manager for client accounts, overseeing onboarding of new business and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Conduct in-person or virtual client meetings quarterly or as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to round out accounts with additional lines of coverage.
- Utilize proprietary systems and Microsoft Office Suite for account management and reporting.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required; additional designations are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a broker or carrier Account Manager (AM) or Account Executive (AE) role, with a focus on medical insurance (not just ancillary).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proprietary systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel to client meetings within driving distance of Seattle, at least quarterly.
