Employee Benefits Account Manager/Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager or Account Executive to join a team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, primarily focusing on fully insured smaller groups. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in employee benefits, excellent client management skills, and the ability to thrive in a environment.
Compensation Package
- Account Manager Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
- Account Executive Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing a portfolio of approximately 110 groups.
- Provide strategic account management for fully insured and level-funded accounts, primarily under 50 lives.
- Oversee the end-to-end account management process, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve issues efficiently.
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of the employee benefits market in the region.
- Utilize software tools such as EPIC, Employee Navigator, and BenefitPoint to manage accounts effectively.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Texas Life & Health (L&H) License required. Property & Casualty (P&C) License preferred.
- Experience:
- Account Manager: 2-3 years of experience in employee benefits or a related field.
- Account Executive: 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, with a proven track record of managing small group accounts.
- Familiarity with fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded plans is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in industry software (EPIC, Employee Navigator, BenefitPoint). Training available for the right candidate.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to team success.
- Hybrid work flexibility: 3-4 days in-office during the initial weeks, transitioning to 2 days in-office weekly.
