Job Summary
Seeking a highly talented, entrepreneurial, and experienced professional to lead the establishment and growth of a new insurance agency. This is a unique ground-floor opportunity to build and shape an agency from the ground up, leveraging an existing portfolio of 3,000 units and $2.5 million in premium. This role offers significant autonomy, equity opportunities, and the chance to align interests with a highly experienced and successful leadership team.

Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and growth of a new insurance agency, leveraging an existing portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure the agency's success
- Oversee all aspects of agency operations, including management, development, and finance
- Build and foster a culture that aligns with the values of the leadership team
- Drive organic growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Collaborate with a highly experienced team of principals to align interests and achieve shared goals
- Ensure the agency operates with financial prudence and strategic foresight
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of carrier relationships and business operations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building or growing successful ventures
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and align a team
- Familiarity with the Southeast culture and business environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the leadership team's vision
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to be based in Birmingham, AL, or open to candidates outside the area who can integrate seamlessly into the team and culture
