Personal Lines Insurance Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Specialist to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining existing homeowners and auto insurance policies, assisting clients with policy changes, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. You will also have the opportunity to identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to the growth of the agency.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $55,000
- Retention Commission: $2,000 – $10,000+
- New Business Commission: $4,000 – $10,000+

Responsibilities
- Service and maintain existing homeowners and auto insurance policies.
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing inquiries, and coverage questions.
- Provide outstanding customer service to support client retention.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and sell new home and auto policies.
- Work directly with carriers to ensure efficient policy servicing and issue resolution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication.
- Support retention efforts and contribute to overall agency growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Active New Jersey Property & Casualty License.
- Minimum of 1 year of personal lines insurance experience.
- Experience servicing home and auto policies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
