Commercial Lines Account Executive (Remote)
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic and family-oriented team. This role is ideal for a self-starter thrives in a laid-back yet professional environment and is eager to take ownership of smaller commercial accounts while driving new business growth.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Commission: Competitive new business commission rates, negotiable (approximately 20%).
- Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare coverage at no cost to the employee.
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote within the DMV area.
- Travel: No travel required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of smaller commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities, leveraging referral leads, centers of influence, and other resources provided by the company.
- Handle quoting, marketing, and servicing of both new and renewal business.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline workflows.
- Maintain a balance of approximately 75% sales and 25% service responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to uphold the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and a positive work culture.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record in quoting, marketing, and servicing accounts.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with EPIC software is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Erie agencies is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
