Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Risk Advisor / Producer to join a team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in property and casualty insurance, particularly in oil and gas-related accounts, including transportation companies and servicing contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and expanding an existing book of business while delivering exceptional service to clients. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a preference for candidates located in Lubbock, DFW, or West Texas.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary (Draw): $60,000 (flexible based on experience)
  • Auto Allowance: $750/month
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Commission Splits: 40% on new business, 30% on renewals
  • Growth Opportunity: Partnership potential if the book of business meets target revenue within approximately three years

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the oil and gas sector, focusing on transportation companies and servicing contractors.
  • Build and expand an existing book of business through proactive sales efforts and client retention strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Utilize AMS 360 software to manage accounts and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and support to clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide up-to-date guidance to clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with a proven track record in sales and client management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with oil and gas-related accounts is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software.
  • Location: Remote position, with a preference for candidates based in Lubbock, DFW, or West Texas.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
