Licensed Professional with Potential for Office Manager Role
Job Summary
Seeking a licensed and motivated individual to join a team as an Office Manager for a well-established $7M insurance agency. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a Property & Casualty (P&C) license to take on a leadership role, manage daily operations, and contribute to the growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is capable of wearing multiple hats, and has a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $52,000 annually
- Commission: 50% on new business, 20% on renewals
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks to start
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Quote new and renewal business as needed, with a focus on both personal and commercial lines (65% commercial, 35% personal).
- Work with carriers such as Safeco, Travelers, USLI, Philadelphia, Ohio Mutual, Grange, Liberty Mutual, and Progressive.
- Handle incoming client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Identify opportunities to sell and grow the business.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in insurance, with a preference for candidates who have worked with both personal and commercial lines.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with proprietary software systems is preferred.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required (note: no testing for cannabis).
