Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional client service and advisory support to a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring the accurate and timely management of client accounts while fostering long-term relationships.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000
- Bonus Opportunity: Based on company and individual performance

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy renewals, coverage changes, and client onboarding.
- Process renewals by gathering updated client data, obtaining insurer quotations, analyzing coverage changes, and preparing proposals.
- Prepare detailed marketing submissions and collaborate with the Marketing Department for remarketing efforts.
- Proactively identify opportunities to educate clients, recommend enhanced coverage, and minimize client risk.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and policy changes in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with agency processes, including documentation and records retention guidelines.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships to support retention goals.
- Participate in client visits, educational programs, and company meetings as required.
- Adhere to agency E&O guidelines and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Valid NJ Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial lines account management experience.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent customer service mindset and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with insurance company rating systems.
