Employee Benefits Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of employee benefits accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
This is a hybrid position, requiring two days per week in the office, typically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with occasional client meetings. The role offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience; higher compensation available for candidates with 15+ years of experience)
- Bonus Structure:
- Quarterly bonus based on regional goals (5% of quarterly earnings during the first year)
- After the first year, transition to a true Account Executive bonus structure (1% of book of business, with a minimum of $1 million in revenue, equating to approximately $10,000 annually)

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, ranging from small to large, including self-funded accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to quote new and renewal business as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Work closely with account managers, producers, and other team members to deliver exceptional service.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active 215 License (required).
- 5-15 years of experience in employee benefits, with a preference for candidates with self-funding experience (not mandatory).
- Familiarity with Sagitta software is preferred; experience with Epic is a plus (transition to Epic planned for 2027).
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
