Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a growing book of business. This role focuses on servicing small to mid-sized commercial accounts, with a strong emphasis on renewals, client service, and day-to-day account management. The position partners closely with a Producer and internal support resources, offering an opportunity to grow within a stable and collaborative agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts, primarily small to mid-sized businesses
- Assist with quoting new and renewal business
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and support requests
- Review coverage, respond to client needs, and process policy changes
- Coordinate with carriers and underwriters as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized client documentation within Applied EPIC or similar agency management software
- Delegate administrative tasks to support staff to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure timely handling of endorsements, certificates, and policy servicing activities
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Commercial lines experience preferred
- Experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management software preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Detail-oriented with a client-focused approach
Compensation Package
- Base salary: $70,000 – $85,000
- Quarterly performance-based bonus (up to approximately 10% of base salary)
