Overview

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. The ideal candidate will have strong account management skills and be proficient in AMS software, preferably Hawksoft. This position will involve working with a variety of commercial lines insurance coverages.
Join an independent agency specializing in business insurance, including commercial property, liability, workers' compensation, and commercial auto. We are seeking motivated insurance professionals who provide excellent client service, management and support.  


Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing exceptional service
  • Process new business, endorsements, and renewals with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure coverage for clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and underwriting guidelines to provide informed advice to clients
  • Assist in resolving client inquiries, issues, and claims in a timely and empathetic manner
  • Contribute to the growth and retention of the commercial lines book of business
  • Uphold company standards and compliance requirements while delivering top-notch service

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in AMS software, preferably Hawksoft
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.

Day-to-day

  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Analyzing coverage options and providing recommendations to clients
  • Processing policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
  • Collaborating with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
  • Staying updated on industry trends and product offerings
  • Providing exceptional service and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns
