Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Analyst to join a team in a role supporting the Legal & Compliance function. Reporting directly to the SVP & General Counsel, this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and privacy initiatives are effectively managed and executed. This organization operates within the healthcare and benefits space, focusing on health, wellness, and retirement offerings.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 per year
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, wellness options
Responsibilities
As a Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Analyst, you will:
- Manage and oversee compliance reporting, including annual reports related to benefits functions.
- Support Board-level and committee reporting, including preparation for approximately three Board meetings annually.
- Assist with privacy operations and contribute to the ongoing development of compliance programs.
- Oversee and track incident reporting and resolution processes. Familiarity with systems like Navex is a plus.
- Develop and update policies, recommend training initiatives, and contribute to compliance education programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, and leadership, to ensure compliance objectives are met.
- Lead select internal meetings and support compliance and privacy workgroups.
- Partner with HR on compliance-related initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, privacy, legal, or risk-related roles.
- Experience in healthcare, benefits, nonprofit, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong expertise in compliance reporting, policy development, and incident management/investigations.
- Exposure to privacy frameworks and operations is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CRCM or CHC are advantageous.
- A law degree is desirable but not required.
