Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and motivated Employee Benefits Producer to join a growing team. The position involves a mix of prospecting, networking, quoting, and selling employee benefits solutions to small and larger market accounts. Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: Draw-based salary up to $150,000, with a 2-3 year validation period.
  • Commission Structure: 40% on new business and 25% on renewals.
  • Additional Benefits:
    • Equity in the company.
    • Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
  • Work Environment: Hybrid or remote options available, with offices in San Ramon and Petaluma. Candidates in the Bay Area are preferred, but remote candidates from Southern California will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a book of business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Provide tailored employee benefits solutions to small and larger market accounts (2-1,000 employees).
  • Collaborate with a dedicated service staff to ensure seamless client support and satisfaction.
  • Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide ongoing client education.
  • Utilize software tools such as Ease and Navigator for quoting and account management.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Life and Health license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in employee benefits and sales.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Ease and Navigator software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
