Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager to join a team. In this role, you will independently manage a portfolio of select commercial clients, ensuring their satisfaction and providing strategic planning to meet their insurance needs. You will serve as the primary service contact, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional customer service and represent client interests within the organization.


Compensation Package

  • Base Salary Range: $73,300 to $90,500 (depending on experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate exposures, obtain quotes, review, negotiate, and finalize insurance policies.
  • Analyze client risks and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Determine markets within core carrier strategy and create solutions for client needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive carrier submissions and manage the binding process.
  • Review binding documents for accuracy and ensure timely notifications to carriers.
  • Conduct contract reviews and maintain accurate account details in the EPIC system.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and proofs of insurance.
  • Organize and manage documentation in EPIC, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Utilize templates and system-generated letters for client and carrier communications.
  • Create and assign activities in EPIC to team members as needed.
  • Handle tasks such as ordering loss runs, generating proofs, and reviewing endorsements and audits.

Qualifications/Requirements

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance with a strong understanding of insurance coverages.

Professional Licenses/Certifications

  • Active state Property & Casualty insurance license.

Essential Skills/Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to create, format, and evaluate formulas.
  • Quick adaptability to new technology platforms.
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., EPIC) and carrier websites.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a hands-on approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of guaranteed cost program design, coverage forms, and client requirements.
  • Ability to develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to address client needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
