Role: Engineering Lines Executive Underwriter

What You’ll Do

• Underwrite engineering lines and builders risk (CAR/EAR, electronic equipment, CPE/CPM, machinery breakdown, ALOP/DSU).
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to maintain profitability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
• Support new business development and portfolio growth initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, pricing tools, and governance.
• Collaborate with regional and international underwriting teams.
• Mentor junior underwriters and support product development.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in Engineering Lines & Builders Risk underwriting.
• Expertise in CAR/EAR, CPE/CPM, DSU, and machinery breakdown.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; existing regional broker network is a plus.
• Experience handling industrial risks and multinational programs.

Compensation

Base salary: $150,000–$250,000, plus annual performance bonus.
